I carved this out of a piece of Black Cherry that my dad and I cut down at his hunting cabin over 25 years ago. I used both hand tools and power tools on it because it was so hard. I think it came out well for my first attempt at using a power carver.

I agree with Claude... and I love the sweeping lines. How long did you spend sanding it?
