Stropping Compound

Postby Ed » Sun Sep 30, 2007 5:19 pm

I've stumbled on this, It's called MAAS. Got it at WalMart in the section with silver polishes etc. It's a creme/paste so goes on the strop easilly (like Brill Creme, a little dab'l do ya). When it dries, it looks suspiciously like Herb Dunkles Yellowstone (ya know, kinda pink). Works fine.

Thanks Ed, As you know, us carvers are always looking for a new product that will help us in our sharpening skills. What I have found is Practice, practice, practice. I am still practicing mine.
