Carving a leaf

Postby firewoodstudio » Wed Dec 14, 2005 7:28 am

I have started carving a leaf. I have a good model, a small one that is dried and twisted. It will be about 1" x 2" . The wood has come out of a grab bag from Wood Craft, so I do nor know what it is It Is light in color and fairly hard. will post a picture on my site later.

Ed,

Yes, please do post a picture of your leaf. I never seem to get a leaf just right. Would like to see how you do yours. Sometimes I think we try to make things to perfect. When I look at some of Nature's things they are less than perfect.

It's always fun to see another carvers creation. I have this topic on watch so I won't miss the picture.
