Well, that was - vague. So far, it sounds like your camera has image stabilazation, which ought to take care of the twitchy hand syndrome. If that doesn't work, see if your camera has an 'action' setting, for taking pictures of people or things in motion, then use that setting.

This just gets more and more irritating. Nobody wants to show me a picture or list actual features. Nuts!
All I can say is read the manual carefully, then go through all the camera menus, one item at a time. Sooner or later, you'll figure it all out. From what little I've been able to find, it sounds like a pretty powerful little gadget, and Canon has a reputation for making decent cameras/printers.
Err, you do have/use a tripod?
