I typed out a very nice reply to Hi Ho and tried to post it, as I am doing now. 20 time got "Invalid Session" "Try Again"...Could this be part of the participation problems???

It would be great if we could upload images of our work from our computers directly. I guess you need a web site or Online Photo Gallery to link from to display images at present.
I really think this Carving Magazine Online Forum is a good one, but could be even better with photo management. Is there a chance of this ever happening?

Gene, I also wanted to add what beautiful sculptural cavings, I espeically like the fish. Just beautiful.

I agree, the photos are a big help. The old saying a picture is worth a 1000 words, is true even here. :)

I too have been troubled posting pictures and since our work involves so much visual art it is very important for this Forum to simplify this process.
The inactivity too does not help, I only sneak around ones a while and when I see the date of the postings I go to another Forum.
I see a few familiar names around "Hello there" since I could not register under "Alice in Wonderland" I had to get another name , that was another drawback , let's try to make this Forum more active ,I shall try too

:D Hi Alice, hey that is a nice looking carving, is it new? It does take a little more effort to link images to this site. Most of the images on my web site are larger than the requested 400X400 pixel...so the image I posted in the Reader Gallery I needed to resize and upload to my Home Page.
Glad to see you here, and I too need to visit more often and participate.
I agree, let's make this forum more active--I'll try too.

Hi Kathy
good to see you here too ,how comes you could keep your name? "Alice in Wonderland" was not liked here lol
No this is one of my older pieces it is very hard Cuban wood and the original color it did not take details well so my imagination took care of it,
how comes people get tired of the same old thing?? how about everybody else? you too?

Gee as for keeping my handle I don't know???? Maybe someone can answer your question as to why you couldn't use Alice In Wonderland.
I don't think I've seen Cuban wood before, it's a beautiful color and a terrific carving.
I get tired fast, that is why I'm not a master painter or sculptor...LOL I do love carving, and even with that I'm always trying to carve something different as far as types of carvings. I do find though that I'm really liking mountain men, Indians etc. I'd love to be a mastercarver.
