Hi everyone,
I've been carving my little, 6-7" Santa's with a knife for years, and am now having trouble with my hands. I've been reading about the Reciprocating Gouges that are being sold now and was wondering what make and model I might buy to carve the little figures. I saw an ad for an Automach, but the gouges looked too large for the little carvings I do. Does anyone have a suggestion as to what I might buy to make my life alittle less painful? :?: As always, I'd like to thank, in advance, all the folks who so willingly take the time to help me out and answer my questions. Thanks again.

Flexcut make a range of chisel blades for recipricating heads. I know they fit Archer and Foredom hand peices. I'm sure there are others.
